Suburban Pediatrics FAQs

If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide our office with 24-hour notice by telephone, at (716) 565-9030.

We request that you plan to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment so that your child is in the room and ready for the provider for the scheduled appointment time.  Please contact our office if you are going to be late or cannot keep your appointment. Our office staff will assist you with rescheduling if necessary.

Your child is a patient of Suburban Pediatrics and can be seen at either location which includes evenings or weekends.

Currently, we are only seeing lactation visits at the Sheridan Drive (Williamsville) location.

No, our Alden providers work on a rotating schedule between the Sheridan Drive and Alden location.

Medication refills are managed Monday through Friday, from 8:00 – 5:00 pm.  Refills requested after 3:00 pm will be handled on the next business day. Prescriptions for controlled substances require a 72-hour notification and will be sent to the primary pharmacy on file unless otherwise specified.

If your insurance requires a PCP and one of our providers is not listed, this may result in charges being denied by your insurance carrier and you being responsible for the charges for all dates of service.

After hours and weekends, our providers alternate being “on-call.”  One of our providers from Suburban Pediatrics will be available 24 hours a day.  Call our regular number at 716-565-9030 first and you will be given instruction on how to reach us after hours.  Keeping your telephone line open and removing any telephone blocks will facilitate our reaching you promptly.
